12 Days of Christmas Draw
Tickets for the annual 12 Days of Christmas Draw are being distributed to all sections this week. The group hopes that all families in the group will be able to sell a book of tickets. This is an important fundraiser for the group as it funds 10% to 15% of our annual running costs. Tickets can be returned on your usual meeting night, but no later than Friday 26th November 2010 as the ticket stubs need to be sent to Dublin in time for the first draw. We appreciate your continued support.
Registration for 2010/11
All existing members have been circulated by post with details of Registration, Parental Consent Forms and Notice of AGM. New members may apply at the registration evening and AGM on 8th September 2010 in the Scout Hall. A short presentation on the new ONE Programme will also be made at the AGM. All parents are encouraged to attend.
ONE Programme
Scouting Ireland has been working over the last 5 years to develop a whole new integrated programme for scouts, which has increased youth participation at all levels.
The new programme involves a change in the ages ranges for the different sections and the addition of one new section.
