{"id":698,"date":"2012-10-29T12:10:30","date_gmt":"2012-10-29T12:10:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.ballinloughscouts.ie\/?p=698"},"modified":"2012-10-29T12:10:30","modified_gmt":"2012-10-29T12:10:30","slug":"agm-201213","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ballinloughscouts.ie\/?p=698","title":{"rendered":"AGM 2012\/13"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Notice of Annual General Meeting<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Our Annual General Meeting for 2012\/12 will take place on Tuesday 13th November from 8pm to 8.45pm in the Scout Hall.<\/p>\n<p>The Agenda is as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To receive the Annual Report of the Ballinlough Scout Group<\/li>\n<li>To receive the Secretaries Report<\/li>\n<li>To reveive the Tresurers Report<\/li>\n<li>To receive the Youth Section Reports<\/li>\n<li>To elect a Chair, Secretary &amp; Treasurer for 2012\/13<\/li>\n<li>To accept new members for the Group Council\u00a0for 2012\/13<\/li>\n<li>Any Other Business<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A short meeting of the new Group Council is planned\u00a0for directly after the AGM at 8.45pm until 9.15pm<\/p>\n<p>The AGM is also\u00a0a forum for parents to ask questions and raises issues that they may have and all families are encouraged to have one parent or represnetative attend.<\/p>\n<p><em>For information:<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Group Council is the management committee.\u00a0 It consists of\u00a0 a Chairperson, Secretary &amp; Treasurer elected at the AGM, at least one leader from each section, all venture scouts, the patrol leaders from the scout section\u00a0and any number of parent representatives.\u00a0 There are between 4 and 6 meetings a year.<\/p>\n<p>We are seeking additional parents to come on board this year and are seeking a parent to act as Chairman of the Committee as the Group will celebrate its 50th anniversary in August 2013 and a programme of events will need to be planned this year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Notice of Annual General Meeting Our Annual General Meeting for 2012\/12 will take place on Tuesday 13th November from 8pm to 8.45pm in the Scout Hall.
